Oh wow! Mine was requested about 2 weeks ago and not heard nothing back yet! They told me around 36 weeks I would hear and was 33 yesterday!
I have an appointment with my consultant today to book my date in, I’m 36 weeks and classed as high risk so have had this consultant appt booked in since 20 weeks 😊
I had my appointment with the consultant yesterday for elective section, signed the consent forms & he said I should hear back with a date next week via phone call (whether this actually happens or not!) I’m 34w+2 atm, he also said it will be done after 39 weeks or possibly after my EDD. I’m based in Leeds, think everywhere seems to be different
I was told by my consultant the date verbally at 28 weeks and was on the system. I only received my formal letter at 34 weeks though. It was helpful for me knowing the date for so long though x
@Olivia I’m exactly the same, they’ve said 39 weeks for my section and I have to go in at 37 weeks to sign the forms. I’m also in Leeds!🫶🏼
Mine was booked with my consultant straight after my scan at 32 weeks. But could be brought forward depending on 36 week scan
Everything depends from the kind of pregnancy you have… in my case is been almost a month that the consultant book a date… in my case is because I’m carrying twins and as they are identical my pregnancy is high risk…
I was booked in to see a consultant by my midwife, mine was booked at 26 weeks xx
I've just had a text today for mine. I'm 37+5 weeks. And it's scheduled for 39 weeks x
@Charlotte very exciting!! Hoping I do actually get called with a date next week now they’ve said it, I’m impatient and want to know now 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@Olivia I feel the same but I won’t have a date till the 28th March then booked in two weeks later! Are you going to be going to lgi or st James? Xx
I received it on the badger app the same day I had my 32 week consultant appointment x
My consultant requested it after my 32 week scan and I received a letter a couple of days later with my date. I think every trust does it differently
