Birthday parties

Posting anon as know a few people in here! Throwing my child a 5th birthday party we have invited the whole class plus a few other friends from outside of school total of about 35 kids. So far the majority have responded yes but several have asked can they bring siblings along mostly younger to which I have no issues with as long as they've asked ❤️ My question here is the extras like party bags, cake etc would you be providing a party bag to all the extra siblings? Part of me feels I should only make them up for the children actually invited due to the extra costing of things as most things I'd need to buy an additional packet to cover extra. But the other side of me doesn't want to cause upset to parents/the extra siblings

When this happened to us. I did party bags for the invited children. But made sure I had enough cake for siblings.

@Naomi I think that’s a great idea, least other kids feel involved & it doesn’t cost extra for the party bags!

I’d do party bags for invited only, you know they’re all the same age so the bags will be suitable. Some siblings may be quite young and you would end up making totally separate ones based on age! I think extra cake seems fair x

We do party bags for siblings too but we've only had 3-4 people bring siblings so it wasn't a big deal. Sometimes they're quite little babies as well so I just got them some rice cakes and a tattle or something as they're not eating cake and would probably try to eat the party favours.
