@Hannah I’ve been taking colace and magnesium citrate gummies. Oh and lots of fluids and fruit!
I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have been able to go at all if I didn’t drink coffee. When I do go, it’s definitely painful and I barely get anything out
Smooth Move tea! It works so well!!
@Ashley do not recommend this if she is still pregnant!
@Melissa why not? It is just tea with Senna, which is very safe during pregnancy and recommended by our hospital OB teams, and midwives.
@Ashley oh I’ll ask my midwife at my appointment on Monday! Where can I buy it?
@Ashley thank you!! I’ve been doing all the things and I swear nothing helps! Hopefully this will 🤞🏻
You're welcome! I went through a really bad stint my last pregnancy and ended up in the ER from not being able to go for a week. It was miserable! This tea was a lifesaver. My midwife/OB team chooses natural/herbal options over pharmacy options. This works for me within 12 hours, and isn't "agressive" like laxatives. And I am personally not a fan of miralax and what it is/does.
Senna tea or milk of magnesia. Also I learned to massage the area underneath my sternum but above my belly to help move the stool. It worked wonders. The first day I did it the area was soooo sore from compaction I could tell I had been needing it for days. Also raise your hands above your head and stretch side to side to create space there for movement
Girl get a stool softener unless it's actually contractions
