My HV said about the size of their hand is the portion but mine defo has more than that!
At 10.5 months she’s just dropped midday bottle so she’ll have either 1 weetabix with half a banana, a slice of toast and a yoghurt/an egg scrambled, or porridge with frozen berries in. For lunch or dinner we are usually out so she’s having the 10m+ pouches and will want something afterwards like fruit or melty sticks. Those 10m+ pouches have about 120 cals in. I’m trying to (very loosely) stick to 150 cals for each meal and 50-100 cals for snacks, the rest of the cals are from her 2 bottles of formula. When I cook for her myself I don’t count any calories I just fill her plate and some days she eats it all some days she doesn’t. As long as she’s putting on weight don’t worry x
Ye my LB doesn't finish shop bought baby food portions but i think it may be boredom more than anything because he has something else after and I could put a variety of homemade food down and he will happily eat the lot switching from food to food ect ...the premade stuff is just the same texture / taste mouthful after mouthful 🤷♀️
