Am I not ovulating?

This is my first month tracking ovulation after 8 months of trying to conceive without. I've been tracking ovulation everyday since my period ended and I've never had anything darker than these. It seems quite late to get a peak any later given my cycles are around 33-35 days longer. Am I just not ovulating and is that the reason I haven't got pregnant the last 8 months?

You missed some days, eg day 17. Did you take a test that day and just not upload it? I tend to go from nothing to a peak in a day

@Kayla the one on day 18 morning was the day 17 one, I just didn't upload until the following morning

I’d recommend doing it twice a day, morning and evening just to cover all basis until you get a peak. I think this month might be out for a peak, you could have a rapid peak and miss it by not testing twice a day especially with this being your first month tracking ovulation. You haven’t figured a pattern out yet

Are they getting any darker to you? I wouldn’t necessarily focus on the number just the darkness

The peak can be so fleeting. Did you only start tracking on day 15? You may have already missed it. Also there’s a huge gap between tests e.g day 19 and day 20 tests is over 24 hours. You may have had your peak and completely missed it. Especially as day 18 seemed to get slightly darker. You’d get a more accurate view (especially for the first 2 or 3 months tracking) tracking from the day your period finishes twice a day. This will allow you to see what your body is doing a bit more clearly.

@Ceri-Ann I started tracking from day 5, just didn't put the picture up as none of them were over 0.2. I did do them 2 times a day, just haven't uploaded all of them as there was never much of a difference in colour and sometimes my urine was quite dilute that I didn't think it was that accurate anyway

@Kayla they've never got particularly dark at all. I did do them twice a day most days, but often didn't upload the morning one as it was even lighter than these. The afternoon one I can never seem to concentrate my urine enough though. I've even avoided a drink for 4 hours and it's still incredibly diluted

Do you track your basal temp as well? This may give you a clearer idea than the opks if your urine is quite diluted

ideally you need to take the test the same time everyday for accurate tests. I've been told second urine is best! If there is still no peak, I'd suggest talking to a fertility specialist about the possibility of you not ovulating at all. If you get to 12 months ttc and no positive, you can refer yourself to NHS services as you'd be classed as infertile (I believe don't quote me) Good luck!

@Ceri-Ann no, I always forget as it's supposed to be first thing before even getting out of bed! I'll try it next month as a bit pointless this month now

@Laci I have a 17 month old currently, so unfortunately the NHS won't help. I'm going to wait until we've been ttc a year as it took 13 months with my first, and then look at getting some tests privately
