I feel that! My mum has bought so much that as grateful as I am i wanna buy my son some stuff yano
I would definitely have a conversation about this to everyone who you feel may be over buying. You deserve the joy!
You can still get him special things from mum if you want to or maybe purchase some things a bit further in advance and you can show and tell them what you've got so they can see they don't need to get that. Honestly I'm at the opposite end, my baby is 7 months and its slowed right down and I'm wishing it'd start back up because I've become a single mum and dad isn't helping at all so some bits and pieces being bought for us would kind of help 😅
@Shayla I've tried but my mums like "he's my first grandchild and I'm like yes and he's MY child" it's really tough cos i don't have the energy to fight her on it
I think this is a blessing to have people around you want to buy things for your baby. Once the baby comes it’s very likely to slow down so much that you may be the ONLY person buying things.
