Chicken pox
Has anyone given there child the chickenpox vaccine? Has your little one already had chickenpox?
My son’s nursery has had three cases in the last week and the manager mentioned the vaccine that I never even heard of. £150 though for both doses!

It’s part of the standard vaccine plan in some countries. I don’t think it’s necessary though because it’s such a regular, low risk virus. There used to be chicken pox parties when I was a kid! Parents would take their kids to them so they can get the chicken pox over and done with 😅
Mine had chicken pox at 16 months old - I’d have probably opted for the vaccine if she hadn’t have caught them so early . I’m just glad now that they’re out the way! X
Our girl has had the vaccine 😊 and will give our boy when he is old enough.

We’ve done the vaccine. £75 a dose at Boots. You need to avoid at risk people for 6 weeks after though as it’s a live vaccine x
