@Shannon we live in a flat so it’s just one floor thankfully! And I’m planning on doing both breast and formula feeding I think xx
That’s super handy! Maybe hold off on the breast pump for a few weeks then as a lot of the time u can borrow from hospital (save you buying one!)
I would recommend mittens and baby nail kit, my boy came out with claws lol. Also a baby white noise sound machine is a game changer x
@Kiran we’ve got a baby nail kit in our Amazon basket! I’ll deffo get mittens on there too as I had totally forgot about them!! Xx
@Courtney there’s so much stuff out there, even now at 5 months we’re still getting bits 😂 also the nuby rapid cooler and flask are good for days out if you are planning on formula feeding x
Snot sucker, if getting a white noise machine I don’t recommend Ewan the sheep it is useless haha I end up using Spotify 🤣 bibs you probably won’t use them straight away tho I only started using bibs when he started teething as he was getting a dribble rash, nuby rapid cool, formula pots, the weleda nappy cream is good it’s in yellow tube, cellular blankets if baby is small you can swaddle them in that I used to do that until I felt like he wasn’t getting drowns by the sleep sack, aim for sleepsuits with the mittens built in it’s easier as mittens can just fall off if not wearing a jacket ect, bath thermometer, nappy caddy, I got the rockit for the pram it’s a godsend if you baby is crying and your out and about if you didn’t want to stand there rocking the pram 🤣 tummy time pillow x
Also don’t forget to get yourself little bits for post partum as you might be uncomfortable to want to go out to get things x
@Jade I’ve got another list for mummy hospital an post partum essentials x
@Emma I’ve already got a load of nipple pads as I’ve had to start using them already 😂 and what’s a thin pram suit like a baby grow or like a coat? Sorry I sound stupid x
Just for info guidance where I am is not to pump until 6 weeks as that's how long it takes for baby to regulate your supply and pumping too can cause oversupply.
@Courtney I’m having a end of summer baby so just wanted to get a lighter pram suit coat type thing as I have a very thick wooly one from baby 1 x
The dream egg is the best noise machine. Portable and lots of options. We’ve had ours 4 yrs for first child & will buy another for our second
Nose sucker we use the one from Frida mom, grooming kit, formula container works fabulous for us especially during the night when you brain is not braining and forget to count the scoops. Dummies, for baby monitor we have opted for owlet camera and sock.

If no one’s mentioned a baby swing or vibrating rocker they’re also good to have. Also a feeding pillow to save your arms and play mat.
@Courtney we bought mittens and never used them as the sleepsuits have built in ones. Check your outfits first. I have loads if you want them 😂 Spare sheets for the Moses basket/pram is something I forgot!
Do you plan on carrying the Moses basket upstairs and downstairs? I have a snuzpod for baby sleeping next to me at night and a Moses basket for the living room for day time sleeping. Each to their own tho! 😊 Baby temperature checker (Amazon) useful! Do you plan on breastfeeding? Nipple cream, breast pads and you might find a haakaa to be useful. Nappy caddy!
