Did you have to speak to his pediatrician about it ?
We did talk to his pediatrician about it.
My bubs will be 4mo next week and I'll be asking his pediatrician about it at his appointment! He is VERY interested in food and wants to be held when I'm eating
WHO says not before 6 month. Even if interested all other factors should be met as well. If you want to start go as natural as possible like carrot purées
@Gloria I plan on making my own baby foods, but I know not everyone has that ability
My daughter had a bowl of cereal as a regular morning meal from approx 12m, but was having solid foods from 6m. We followed BLW. UK based, no solids before 6m.
Maybe at the 5-6 month mark for the rice puff cereal
@Samantha you are very Right, but any veggie puree or similar is better than cereal or other highly processed options
Never honestly. They just ate real food when they were 6 months + ready to eat. I mean they eat breakfast cereal now as toddlers and children but never ate baby cereal.
I stated putting oat in his bottle he’s 5 months, I usually grind old fashioned oats in a food processor, usually it’s cornmeal from where I’m from but I can’t find good cornmeal here, I plan on making his food.
We started oatmeal added to the bottle at 4 months and it was only his night bottle to help him sleep longer. We also did BLW
