Boiling water into the rapid cool as much needed for the bottle. Close the lid and let it do its thing Once water is warm put a shot of boiling water into the bottle with powder milk - then shake it to mix it well, then put the water from rapid cool into the bottle and done!

You can just make the formula with boiling water in the bottle, then put into the nuby to cool it down, but this way means you need to clean and sterilise after every use The link above means you don't need to sterilise as often. We did it this way all the time and sterilised once a day
@Denise don't do it this way. You need to measure out the correct amount of boiling water and take the hot shot out of this. Otherwise your water to powder ratio is wrong. However it's much easier just to cool the milk in it properly and clean it after every use. We had two rapid cools and as long as you clean them as soon as you use them there is always one ready for the next bottle.
Use a thermos filled with hot water , then fill the rapid cool with hot water shake turn press button should be yellow, once turned back it should be green after 2 min, add formula in the bottle with a shot of hot water, shake then fill the rest with water from the rapid cool it should be tested before drinking but temp should be fine.
I have always done it, pour boiling water into bottle 5oz water, tip 4oz of water into the rapid cool, 1oz is the hot shot with the formula put lid on and swirl to mix, wait for the 4oz to cool down in the rapid cool and then pour into bottle and always been fine for me, he’s on 6oz now so I leave 2oz water in for the hot shot and 4oz into the rapid cool so it’s still warm for him
Don’t put formula in it!! Boil your water Measure out in your sterilised bottle how much water you need pre formula Put an oz of water into a lid of the bottle to use as your hot shot Pour the rest of the water into your rapid cool Formula & hot shot in the bottle and then add your cooled water from rapid cool Gently mix don’t shake the bottle I’ve used the rapid cool with both of my babies and can’t recommend it enough. I would use it throughout the day and then chuck it in with a milton sterile tablet once a day or every 2 days as only boiling water is going into it!
