@Carly based on other kids I know his age, I would say 1 nap a day is pretty normal.
My daughter is almost 23 months old, and she has been trying to skip her nap for 2 weeks. I have been able to lay with her, and that is how I have gotten her to sleep her nap, but sometimes, like today, that doesn't help.
@Maria right that's where I'm at!
How long has this been going on? Mine was a great napper 2-3 hours a day now it’s a battle to get her to sleep, today was the first nap she had in a week
It is most likely a sleep regression! We went through that and it was tough. I also realized she might need and adjusted wake window time so after the regression passed we adjusted the time to 5 hour wake window and 2 hour nap instead of 3. So wake up at 7:30, nap 12:30-2:30 and bedtime 7:30 pm. Her last wake window was 4:30 hs: 8:00 up, 12:30 -3:00 nap and 7:30 pm bedtime. I’d let the regression pass and then adjust. Hope it helps!

1 nap a day? I would check his wake windows and adjust them if needed. My daughter started to do quiet time in her room on the days she won’t nap. She was at least 2.5 though.
