Have you tried sizing up on his teats? If the flow is too slow, he could be using too much energy getting the milk out so needing to take longer

My girl is 6 weeks and usually takes around 20 minutes x

Ours takes 10-15 mins, definitely sounds like they need a bigger teat

@Lauren We tried a faster teat today and he ended up spilling loads out of his mouth😭 does it take time for him to get used to a new teat?

We have the same problem with the faster teats, most of the milk ends up squirting out! Maybe he's at an awkward in-between stage - try a paced feed with that teat to see if that helps? Feed him sitting upright with only half the teat filled with milk

They do teats (tomee tippee) which is a vari flow which basically means that the flow depends on how the baby sucks, could try that 😀

Around 15-20 mins but sometimes she does have a break for 5 mins and falls asleep and then when I go to burp her she wakes up and wants more and those take around 45 mins

Speaking of faster teats, my LG is on anti reflux formula which is thick and wasn’t coming fast enough out of size 2 teats, size 3 was all spilling out her mouth so I made a couple of holes in the size 2 teats with a sterilised needle and it’s perfect for the in between awkwardness. My mum suggested it as she said that’s what she did back in the day🤣
