Swimwear!

I think my boy will get cold in swimming pools, I’ve seen the Swimbub “warm wetsuits” but is this a bit overkill for just swimming in a pool? What are you putting your little ones in?!

I used a bathing suit that looked similar to that one (just shorts and not a warm wetsuit) for my oldest when I’d take him to swim lessons. Most of the time he’d still be cold - like blue lips kinda cold.

@Sharnee that’s my worry, I want him to enjoy himself! X

My son had this exact one, long story short it didn’t work and he was freezing in it still! He currently uses splash about fleece lined one which keeps him a little more comfy now but his getting too big for it so will have to either get him the one with shorts instead of trousers or a different fleece lined wetsuit for older kids. He has hardly any body fat so that doesn’t help and he still goes blue in wetsuits

@Shay thank you I’ll make sure I get a fleece lined one then x

We had one it was rubbish. We went for the normal swim suits from Asda and never had a problem. Most kids pools are warm and as long as your loving him around he will be warm it's the changing room we struggle with after so take some warm milk for after or a warm snack if possible when he's ready and I take his bingo onesie to be in after x

Mine goes in with a nula wetsuit because he shivers and goes cold so quick. We get stares but rather he's not cold.

@Sam you mean Nalu? Are they any good?

@Shay sorry, yeah that's the one. Oh yeah their great. He's been wearing one since she was 9months old and doesn't get too hot at all. Bought off vinted to save the pennies as well
