My boy counts to 10 and can sing the ABC song all the way through, even recognises the letters for some!!

He’s 17 months exactly today and my first so I just thought this was normal but my friends with kids say it’s very unusual at this age. Is it unusual? Anyone else’s LO the same?

I think it's common for children that watch a lot of Ms Rachel or other screen time! They seem to memorise the songs. That's just my experience with friends toddlers though.

Clever Boy! Ignore your friends & continue being your child's cheerleader. You're doing a fab job!

I should have added that it's amazing and well done, like Sarah said!

@Kate he watches a bit of TV when I get ready in the mornings so may well have picked it up from there and just be really good at memorising 😂

That is amazing to memorise so much! I've been trying to learn the alphabet in sign language and my brain can only remember like 6 letters without needing to check. So for a little one to learn the whole alphabet that's so impressive!

Mine counts to 10 too and sings loads of songs. She was singing before she could talk practically 😊
