Anyone else have a hanging belly after their c section. I'm 3 years post partum so it's completely healed. It's just that I have a hanging underbelly. Anyone else?
Officially gone past my due date and this little one clearly doesn’t want to come out. Does anyone know if I can request to be induced? At this point I really can’t do it anymore, I’m shattered and in pain.
Since last night I've been having a sharp pains and they aren't going away. I woke up and they started again and it won't go away with laying down. A shower kinda helps but not really. I'm 36 weeks, I dont want to go to the hospital if it's nothing.
So today is my due date and I have absolutely no signs what so ever, I went in for a sweep yesterday which failed as my midwife said my cervix is only just opening 0.5cm but is softening! I’ve had period crampings since and some brown in my discharge when I wipe which I’m guessing is just blood where he has had a ...
I’m talking about a random, unexpected death.. for example you and baby go to sleep at night and you don’t wake up in the morning, or you just had a sudden cardiac arrest… anything that means your baby will be alone until they are discovered? I’m asking as it’s an anxiety of mine and I’m working towards making this...
My mfm doctor told me last week that women can now choose to get induced at 39 weeks? Is this something new? I never heard of it before but I’m definitely going to ask my OB at my next appointment.
Did anyone have the option to deliver at either of these hospitals? I’m currently 15 weeks but I’m not sure which is the better hospital. I was hoping to deliver at Harrogate but would be good to get some insight from other people x
Do we get baby’s first clothes from the hospital after delivery? Is that something all hospitals provide to bew born babies.
Im 21w3d and for the past week I’ve had excessive discharge to the point I feel like im wetting myself sometimes, it’s really runny and watery, doesn’t have a smell to it and is clear or like pale white. I know discharge can change during pregnancy but it’s starting to do my head in as I never had it this bad with...
I’m booked in to be induced on Monday, what’s everyone’s experiences with being induced & how long did you stay in hospital for? .. my midwife said I could be there for 2-3 days 😩
I’ve been loosing bits like this for a couple days now. 38 weeks pregnant, is it just weird discharge or part of my mucus plug?
1st time mom and everything seems unknown to me. Making me super nervous when trying to be excited. Trying to calm myself down but finding it very difficult. Have a c-section coming up and just so so scared of everything!!! Anyone same feeling? Any advice on how to process it?
I’m due in April and have been offered to have an elective c-section if I want one as my first birth, I had to have an emergency c-section! I’m currently in no rush to make a decision. I’m waying up the pros and cons haha! As when this baby is due I will have a just turned 3 year old, which we will also need to sor...
At my pre op yesterday I was told there's 2 of us booked in for surgery but they don't know who will go first because they're not sure who is higher priority, so just wondering who you think is higher priority 🤔
I had my C-section 9 days ago and the bleeding has completely stopped, it was red to brown but now it’s stopped - is this normal to happen so soon? I was told bleeding can last for a while over 4 weeks so a little confused. My wound is obviously still heeling but feels okay, the only pain I have is in my lower back,...
What time did you go into labour with your second?
Hey ladies, this is my first and I'm due Nov 4th. Suddenly started experiencing some very intense pain but I can't tell if it's a contraction or not. It comes and goes but doesn't fully subside. Are they supposed to stop entirely to give us a break or just get gentle for a while before peaking again? Any advice is w...
If you don’t have a car, why would you do? Buy a car seat for the taxi/uber home? Any London mum who think about taking a black cab with a pushchair inside, or walking home, or bus? I’m not sure about buying a car seat just for the ride home, when I live only 15min walking from the hospital 😬
Hello, I live in Beckenham and not sure which hospital to go for to receive care. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Has anyone ever measured ahead and had baby early? My other babies measured on time or behind… Curious because my baby is measuring two weeks ahead
