A message to our LA community during the wildfires

To our Peanut community in Los Angeles – our hearts are with you right now. We know many of you are facing incredibly scary moments as these wildfires spread across the region.

We’re especially thinking of all the mamas and mamas-to-be who are working so hard to keep their families safe during this frightening time. We see you, and we’re here for you.

Your safety is what matters most right now. Please, please follow all instructions from local authorities – they’re the experts who can help keep you and your little ones protected.

For our LA community, here are a few essential ways to stay safe—and help those around you do the same!

Stay informed

Get those emergency alerts set up on your phone. Download Watch Duty for real-time updates, and keep an eye on Cal Fire’s website for the latest evacuation maps. If you’re in LA County, you can sign up for local alerts too.

Protect those precious lungs

Check AirNow.Gov for air quality updates. If the air’s looking rough, try to stay inside with windows closed tight. Got an air purifier? Keep it running! And if you need to head out, pop on an N95 mask.

Be ready to go

We know it’s the last thing you want to think about, but having a “go bag” ready can make all the difference. Pack those essentials – clothes, first aid kit, flashlight, and enough food and water for three days. Don’t forget important documents and any medications!

Need shelter?

Text “SHELTER” and your ZIP code to 43362. Several shelters are open across LA County, including spaces for your furry family members too.

Stay safe ❤️
