Peanut exists to help women find their village - a place where they can get support and make meaningful connections at any stage of life.
While our community grows, we’re working tirelessly behind the scenes to keep Peanut safe and inclusive for everyone.
We want to share some recent updates to our safety features, including refined reporting tools that make it easier and faster to flag content or users that don’t align with our community guidelines.
What’s new
More specific 📝
When you submit a report, you’ll notice more specific options to choose from when describing your concern. This might seem like a small change, but it makes a big difference – it helps our moderators understand and address issues more quickly and effectively, ensuring we can prioritize urgent matters right away.
More context 👀
We’ll sometimes ask you to provide a bit more context about your report. While this extra step might take a moment, it gives our moderators the detailed information they need to take appropriate action swiftly. Remember, every single report is reviewed by a real person who’s dedicated to keeping our community safe.
More options ⏭️
After submitting a report, you’ll now see additional helpful options, such as leaving a group or blocking a user, giving you more control over your Peanut experience.
More support 🫶
One of our most important additions is the new “I’m worried about this person” option. If you’re concerned about someone in our community, you can now let us know with this gentle approach. When you use this option, our moderators will review the situation and can provide supportive resources if needed. It’s important to note that using this option won’t get anyone in trouble – it’s simply a way to help ensure everyone in our community has access to support when they might need it. 💗
