I think it just means if you are going to heat them up, make sure they are heated up properly, but you can eat them cold without warming them.

That just means don’t only partially heat it. Hot or cold is fine but not halfway x

That’s reassuring! Thank you 🙏
It’s already cooked so it’s fine. They’re only saying about it being piping hot if you choose to heat it up. It says on the back there this product is ready to eat x

I don’t think I read it properly:( thank you for the reassurance though! My brain isn’t working properly 😩 x
Ignore the ‘piping hot’ text, it’s probably put on all products to cook. It says ‘this product is ready to eat but may also be eaten hot’. It’s fine to eat cold, it’s already full cooked meat and won’t do any damage to your baby.

I see that’s great! I didn’t see that, my brain isn’t working today 🥲 I’m glad that it’s safe though x
Don’t eat it lol
I stayed away from cold cuts etc as my doctor said it’s not healthy during pregnancy but yea check with your doc.
I ate so many sausage rolls when pregnant (these same ones) and my baby boy is perfect so I wouldn't worry 💙
I ate these cold pretty much every day for about two months of my pregnancy as they were (strangely) one of the few things I could stomach whilst feeling sick! :) baby will be fine I promise! Xx
I've just had a cold sausage roll im sure it just means to heat it up properly if going to heat it up as pork can be funny reheated x
If you re heating any meat or fish it should always be pipping hot if your eating it cold that's absolutely fine perfectly safe but if you choose to eat it hot it needs to of been re heated to pipping hot first then allow it to cool down to consume safely xx
Eat it hot or cold, not luke warm.
I should imagine it’s because you can also cook from frozen. You’re definitely fine as it says ready to eat, as long as you didn’t eat it straight from the freezer 😂
Cold is fine, if you heat them, they should be piping hot. If you’ve already done it though, no point worrying yourself about it 😊
Either cold and kept in the fridge or reheated to piping hot. It’s the inbetween bit that is risky.
Out of genuine curiousity, why it’s risky to only heat halfway? If there is bacteria when partially heated wouldn’t it also be there while cold?

If heated properly or kept in fridge temperature the product is in temperatures that bacteria doesn't like and therefore are killed off or growth rate is drastically reduced. Between 8 and 65° is the "danger zone" which bacteria thrives and multiplies in xx

They are ready to eat or you can heat them first. It's just saying if you choose to heat first, make sure they're heated properly and to a good high temp. If not heated properly it enters the "danger zone" where bacteria grows quickly. You'll be absolutely fine! (Catering background)
I always eat cold sausage rolls 🫣. I think it means if you’re cooking it then you need to make sure it is piping hot. If you have it chills then it’s fine as it is.
After seeing all these comments I think so as well! That’s reassuring as I was really worried, I think I just read them wrong 🥲 x
