A-lay-a. And yes that’s a beautiful name!!
@Becky That's exactly why I asked because it was something I thought about and it's something I don't want her to suffer when she gets older! The world is a complete bullying and now if I name her something like that it will be more hahaha. 🤔
@Salma thank you! I love it too
I think it would be more annoying than cruel sort of bullying but you just never know. Maybe change to Aleia and have it pronounced ah-lay-ah. A quick google shows it's not 100% unheard of but isn't a common name at all either!
My daughter is Alaya, that’s how I read it too. I like that spelling too
Ah-Lay-Ah. I would pronounce Laia as Lay-Ah, so I would assume Alaia was like Laia, but with an A! 💕
The famous designer spelt like this is pronounced a lie a but every time Iv seen someone call their baby this they pronounce it a lay a
A-laya. Beautiful name. Unique
@Micaela🌸 I never imagined it as Alaya but I like it too. They must have the same meaning, right?
@Madelina ♡ Yes I think it's pronounced like that too! But I wanted to confirm hahaha thank you very much
@Lydia I think either can be a good option. It gives me some peace of mind to know that there aren't as many ways to say it.
@Christina Thank you very much I want something unique and easy to pronounce.
You’re welcome. Yes easy to pronounce. It’s beautiful. Absolutely love it. :)
@Becky Yes maybe it will be very annoying. I like Aleia too I wouldn't have thought of it but it's also in my favorites now! Thank you so much I want something unique but not exotic either.

I would pronounce it ‘ah-lay-ah’ and I absolutely love it. Very pretty
When I read this, in my head I read it as A-lay-ah, so if I was saying it I would pronounce it how I read it.
Ah-lay-ah
A-lay-ah
I'd probably assume it's "a-lie-ah" but my brain goes to read it alaya first. I think it's nice but you're gonna have people making the occasional silly comment thinking they're hilarious like "oh she's a liar?!!" so as long as you can put up with that…
