I had a second degree urethral tear which had to be fixed in theatre. Can’t help as the stinging is INTENSE and now got a UTI but I feel for you 🥲🥲
Spritz for bitz
Rinse it every day, keep it clean xx
I’m with @Clair either Epsom salts or @Sarah spritz for bits, which is the ‘my expert midwife’ range. You can buy it in Boots & online, they also do a soak for bits, which I assume is v.similar to Epsom salts and designed for use with stitches x
Thanks, I am using spritz for bits hopefully it starts working soon. Thanks all 🤞❤️ xz
If things with products on are irritating you a bit you could try sitting on some frozen peas (outside knickers and a pad obviously). One of my friends suggested it. I haven’t tried it myself as used the cooling pads without a stinging feeling. X
Sit on a travel/airplane pillow helps me a lot 🫣 as I also have Hemorrhoids and it hurts so bad 😭
My midwife said water was better than sprits for bits so I didn’t end up using it! Highly recommend a perineal bottle and these cooling pads from Amazon, they snap like glow sticks but it’s such a relief! I washed with water and patted dry and changed my pad every time I went to the toilet. Also bought a donut pillow which really took the pressure off when I was sitting down https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B08TMZWK9X?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
Hopefully by day four it should start to feel better! I remember this all to well! I had a jug of water with me everywhere I went! Needed to pee? Jug of water! And there's another thing which I felt uncomfortable doing so didn't personally but get the shower hose and pee in the shower! The pain will pass in the next 2 days xx
Bath with milk and lavender, or Epsom salts, for at least 10 mins a couple times a day.
