Reaction to mayonnaise but no egg allergy?!
I’m really stumped. Recently Ava has been getting red blotchy patches on her face if she has mayonnaise. She doesn’t have an egg allergy as is fine with ‘normal eggs’ (and anything else which contains egg) - is there something else in Mayonnaise that she could be allergic to/reacting to?

This happened to my son too when he had mayo but it didn’t seem to bother him so I just left it
Could be the acidity if it contains vinegar. My lg isn't allergic to tomatoes but she gets a bit blotchy if they sit on her skin due to acidity.
All my kids get this. They also get it if they have ketchup, too. They get red blotches round their month, chin, etc. Basically, wherever the sauce touches. The blotches don't last long, and it doesn't seem to annoy any of them, so I just let them and have it if they like it.
