Has anyone ever taken Gabapentin during pregnancy?
I was in a really bad car accident March 10th and am now suffering from some really bad nerve pain. My PCP mentioned Gabapentin but said we would need to clear that with my OB. I will be asking them first thing Monday morning as their office is now closed! I was just curious if anyone here has taken it while being pregnant?

@Ali thank you for answering! I’m hoping it’s an option for me! I am in excruciating pain and cannot take this much longer. I need some relief😩😩

I have on occasion. I have had a prescription for almost a decade, and I stopped taking it when I knew I was going to try to get pregnant. I avoided it as much as possible in the first trimester, but when intense sciatic pain came on around week 14 there were days I would not be able to get by without it, my OB assured me that there has only been one study that has ever shown affects, and it was for a much higher dosage that I am prescribed
