Same here; I just want a good turkey sandwich so much I could cry😭
I’ve eaten it sometimes I just heated up the meat to be safe
When I found out I was pregnant I was working at subway at the time and I ate a tuna sub every day it was my go to! I feel like when drs tell you not to eat certain things while your prego is bs bc if you really think about the different cultures in the world and what they eat for there meals they’re not just going to stop. For example in India some of there foods are really spicy a woman could crave that and eat it with no problem! Sometimes the baby just got a hold on ya mind and you gotta eat what you want!
Get it toasted. I ate it at least once a week 😂
Lol I basically lived off of it in the first trimester when everything else was gross. I stuck to the veggie one or the roasted chicken and got it toasted and it was totally good on my end.
I had deli meat sandwiches all the time when I was pregnant
As long as the meat is heated to where it steams it’s ok.
@Eileen I didn’t even heat it hot foods made me nauseous
I have the same craving so I get a veggie delight or just steak and cheese but those are my favourites nonetheless
You can eat the tuna or meatball sub
Oh yeah. But I had the meatball sub
I ate it all the time toasted!!!
I think it depends what you order my midwife said I can have salami if it’s been heated to the point of steaming, but I don’t trust like that I won’t eat it unless it’s fully cooked on a pizza or I do it myself 😂 the meatball and steak options are probably safe, but I would stay away from cold meats just because they sit out all day 💖
My go to is a chicken classic hopefully that’s okay!

I ate a BLT from subway three times before I knew I was pregnant. Threw it up each time. Should’ve known ..
I ate all kinds of subs and deli meat heated or not my last pregnancy with no issues
Eat the subway! Eat the medium rare steak and have your deli meat, they say it as a precaution just in case but I haven't met a pregnant women who had a negative experience eating these food. The only one I'd take serious is the no sushi... raw fish is definitely a risk imo
It’s not the best. especially from subway, but it’s not going to kill your because it’s a a low chance that something would happen. It’s really based on if that’s just something you want to do or not. I wouldn’t recommend it as an all the time thing. But one isn’t going to hurt anything
Don’t do cold cuts mama!! Too risky. I did the tuna and veggie (they give you double the cheese 🤤) when I was prego and it was 🤌🏼
Yeah loads x
I had a chicken teriyaki sub and got really sick. I then didn't realise it was likely the sub and ended up asking my husband to get me another one while still sick - ended up with gastro for 2 weeks total so would not recommend. Counting the days until I can grab easy meals again!!!
I’ve eaten subway 10+ times since being pregnant and Bub is fine 🤍🤍 I always get mine toasted extra just ask
I’ve had subway and McAllister deli as well. My nurse told me the prepackaged meat with the additives is the most harmful but places that slice it fresh is a much lower risk.
I eat subway all the time! Chicken tikka is my fav 🥰
Also if you don’t like the bread warm or not that toasted you can ask them to toast the meat separately.
Wow. and here’s me eating subway loads since being pregnant 😂 the only thing I didn’t go for is pepperoni🫣 and I’d love to have tuna but it’s always with mayonnaise which I hate 🤮
I say this as someone who worked at a subway, do not eat from there UNLESS you know someone who works there. I used to have a dodgy manager who would relabel dates on food (I reported him, dw) but cross contamination also happens a lot at subway too, not everyone is up to date with food safety nor do they care. If it’s heated, all ingredients you’re at less of a risk but don’t do anything non heated x
@Katie oh I am PLANNING on it tomorrow! Company lunch at a good restaurant with one on the menu so I think I can have the best of both worlds😂
I’ve eaten it but get it toasted
