I’ve not got a Tripp trapp but the oxo ones are absolutely amazing, by far the strongest I’ve found
@Nora We’re in the same boat then. She will figure out how to lift the silicone matt in a second. I either hold the bowl/plate or use the tray. But I need to find a way as she needs her bowl/tray to learn spoon feed…
@Hannah I’ve seen this one but the reviews say that it doesn’t have a suction. How does it stick then? This will be a great option if it actually sticks and baby can’t lift it easily?
@Sophie thanks. Have you tried it on stoke tripp trap tray? None of my suction plates/bowls stick properly and baby can lift them easily.
@Alice The Tripp trap tray is a special mat and non even tray which doesn’t let the suction bowl to attach unfortunately. I’ll try oxo though to see how it goes, thanks for your help
@Mina ahh maybe not then. I have a silicone cover on the ikea high chair and things dont suction to that very well but the oxo does. I shouldn’t think it would work if it’s not even though
Apparently, stokke sells their own plate which sticks to their tray. I tried a silicon matt (bought on etsy) which sticks to the stokke tray and this way allows bowls sticking.... until my LO figured out how easy it is to lift this matt off the tray 😆 now we are back to me holding the bowl/ using the tray as a platte. You could try removing the tray and push tripp trapp chair to the table?
