I need expert advice: How to take out poop stain out of really delicate knit baby blanket??

I am trying to save a new baby blanket that was ruined by poop stains. My baby was wrapped in the blanket when her pooped diaper leaked down her back and on the blanket…someone who knows how to take out stains without ruining delicate knit blankets, please let me know.

Hand wash it and I find that putting it in the sun helps get rid of poo stains most of the time!

Peroxide in water with a drop of dawn, use a gentle brush to work it in. The exact proportions you can probably find online

I agree with Annabelle, the sun will take it out. Wash it normally, hang outside to dry. Repeat if necessary. If it’s stubborn, while it’s wet, add some lemon juice and leave it outside.

I handed washed with dawn dish soap to get a lot of poop stains out of my babies clothes, and after hand washing, I just threw it in the washer just to make sure

Wow thanks a lot for all the advice @Annabelle @Jesika @Margarita @Miya🦋 I will try and see what works. I really don’t wanna throw it out since it’s new and was also pricey. The stain is like week old by the time I got to it, so I hope it still works.

I have soaked a white knit blanket with oxy clean, worked like a charm. Sunlight will def help as well

Hey mama! Dawn will help get the stains out ☺️

Put it in the sun! My LO if over 1yr and I've never had to throw a single piece of clothing due to poo stains all cus of this method
