@Wendy thank you so much love I will definitely look into that right away!!!
My husband "surprised" me with Stevie Wonder tickets when I was less than 30 weeks. ... and while it was very very sweet ... I was miserable. Standing in the line to get in was terrible, trying to get past all the seared people in the row with my big belly was embarrassing lol, I felt super uncomfortable in the chairs, and I ended up sitting down most of the show, which meant I couldn't see much of anything during the show because everyone was standing in front of me. I also remember that my baby, which was pretty chill in utero, was CRAZY active once the show started. I felt guilty and worried that the music was too loud for him (he could have been in there dancing though!) So i was really distracted. I wanted to leave but didnt bc i didnt want to hurt my husband's feelings. He had been nursingme for months and we hadnt had a date night in months. But i honestly was just so tired and wanted to go home ... soooooooo my experience wasn't enjoyable.
I will say that my pregnancy was super challenging. I was sick the entire pregnancy and I barely got out the bed let alone left the house the entire pregnancy. I couldn't even work. ... so YOU may have a GREAT time.... but I wanted to share my experience just so you can make an informed decision. If you have been really active and feeling well and you feel excited about it then you could try and just leave early if you need to. Hope this is helpful and not too much of a Debby downer... I want the best for you!
I went to a concert during 3rd trimester when I was just getting big🤣 they had an ADA section so I sat there until the artist came out. Honestly it was a long night. I was glad I went but was also like never again 🤣 i was paranoid about people bumping into my belly and just got really tired.
I just went to an outdoor music fest in Irvine, CA (HOT) and over all, surprisingly, I was fine (31 weeks). We had decent seats on the lawn that were very easy to access, so that helped. I do think I prefer being able to drink at concerts tho. Being sober surrounded by drunk folks wasn’t my favorite thing 😆. Plus I thing I loosen up and sing along more and generally have more fun at concerts with a few drinks.
I’ve been to 3 concerts while pregnant the last one right before my third trimester, the venue did accommodate me and my friend with ADA section seating
Update: I ended up going and I had fun but it was very tiring and like some of you said I sat a lot through out the concert!!! But over all it was a good experience but not sure if I’d do it again!!
Hey babe ! So full transparency if you can get in contact with the venue and get ADA disability section to accommodate you at your stage in pregnancy that is the ultimate goal! Some venues can’t make accommodations but others can so go ahead and do your best to see if it’s a possibility! If not I suggest, not going if you’re far up the stage. I was about to take my friend to go see bad bunny while she was pregnant but I ultimately said I didn’t feel comfortable bc if something happened I couldn’t live with myself, crazy enough the people next to us were insanely drunk & smoking 🌱 it’s bad bunny so I expected nothing less tbh but it was hot crowded and a lot of stairs to our section still had a great time but I would’ve felt so worried to take my friend since I couldn’t get her the ADA access 😭
