What are these two animals in Monkey Puzzle?

I have Monkey Puzzle (by Julia Donaldson) and my daughter often points to these two animals on the photo expecting me to say what they are… and I don’t know… any ideas? Thanks (for context, they are in the rainforest…)

I would say the one on the right is a lizard/gecko.

My partner has suggested some sort of cat based on the cat from room on the broom that looks similar…. 🤷‍♀️

Maybe a bush baby and a lizard?

Bush babies live in Africa. I’m pretty sure the book is South American animals. It’s probably a possum but it’s not drawn with enough detail to tell.

Ignore my other comments I forgot there was an elephant in the book. It’s Africa. Definitely a bush baby 😂 Look up brown greater galago apparently there’s different breeds of bush babies.

@Jessica what do you think is the animal on the right?

@Ariadna It’s probably supposed to be a geko but you could just go generic and tell her it’s a lizard. Because there are a lot of reptiles that are in that category including gekos. So you won’t be wrong to just say lizard.
