Diaper rash from formula to whole milk transition?

Has anyone’s little had diaper rash cause by the transition from formula to whole milk? My girl is just making the transition to whole milk only after weaning off formula and she has the worst diaper rash she’s ever had. She hasn’t shown any signs of a milk allergy and we haven’t changed anything with diapering. I’m hoping it’s just because the whole milk is changing her stool, but wanted to see if anyone else had experience with the same issue.

Had this exact same thing happen to my daughter today. I gave her ibuprofen, let her run around bare butt for a little while and then put Boudreaux butt paste all over her butt before putting the diaper back on. Just try not to wipe her too much.. Im using cool water to clean her, and then dabbing her dry until the rash gets better. If you have any breast milk saved that will help it a lot.

Thanks! That makes me feel better lol. She’s of course pooping more so I’m just trying to wipe her enough to make sure she’s clean of course but feel terrible the whole time 😩 I do have some stored up and was going to add it to her bath and dab some on her butt next diaper change

Update: luckily we had her 1 yr appointment coming up anyways. Turns out that it was a delayed reaction from antibiotics she was on weeks ago for an ear infection. Killed all the good bacteria too, so it was a “yeasty” diaper rash. Got some antifungal ointment and she is on the mend! It had been weeks since she was on the antibiotics so I didn’t even think about that!
