Is frozen formula in baby mesh feeder ok?

So my bub is almost 6 months and only sometimes has solids. I want to use the baby mesh feeder we got him (that's also good for teething) and I've seen mothers put frozen breast milk in it so I decided to freeze a little block of formula to try out in it, but when I looked it up it says frozen formula is not recommended. I would put fruits instead but bub hasn't shown much interest in banana and the only other fruit that we have now to try is strawberry but for some reason I'm worried about introducing strawberry because what if he gets an allergy (im home alone now and if he shows signs of a reaction I have no way to go dr or get assistance and husband and other loved ones work til at least 5:30 :/ I was wondering if anyone has put in frozen formula before? Or should I not do it.. So frustrating to see all these mums use it confidently with different fruits and I don't even know what to put in it 😭😭 I don't even know how I'd prepare the fruit (boil? Peel strawberry?) before giving it. I feel a bit ashamed tbh lol especially seeing other mums so amazing at introducing solids and doing a great job. Thanks :)

You could always blend ghe strawberry up with a little bit of yoghurt or something and then freeze it? Or even blend it with a little water and freeze it 😊 I used to put just a whole strawberry with the green part cut off for my daughter. If you dont aleady, i highly recommend following Solid Starts on instagram and looking on their website. You can search different foods and it tells you how to prepare it for different ages :)

@Madison thanks for this! ❤️❤️

I found my little boy loved grapes in these feeders !! I just cut up a few grapes and squeezed them so there nice and juice and he would chew on them till it was just the skin left!

Omg my heart ❤️ I hVe been a nervous wreck even thinking about solids or first tastes, bub is 5 months. So I recognise all the stress in your post. I've been told a few times to follow the same insta acc so try that. Also look at nibbles they do a firsts chart im ordering mine today. Never be embarrassed, it's super scary and stressful. You have ppl telling you some food from 4months others say nothing till 6 and then they say start with cerealac, don't start with ceralac. It's super confusing. I just downloaded solid starts it tells you how to prepare what food based on age. And never stress If no one is there and something ever makes you uneasy call the ambulance. You would rather go and waste your time then have an issue. Sending you big hugs mum, go have a wine and bath. I did and played some switch lol helped a bunch. Other mums may just look confident or have help or not worry which is scary. Don't forget just because others do it doesn't mean it's safe, do you research and what's right for you. Xx

Oh and if your doing frozen formula for teeth, I just do boiled water. The paed put us on water and brown sugar to clear up constipation and we have done small bits of water in the feeders but silicone ,the mesh flops around. It's helped her so much
