Take him to emergency a button or watch (pill ) size battery can burn thru the esophagus and be deadly
@Destiny oh if it was a battery, there would be no question. He would have been at the emergency room in a heartbeat. It's a single magnet about the size of a pen tip. I doubt he even noticed if he swallowed it
Thank God I read that wrong
@Destiny batteries scare me more than anything. Little stinker keeps trying to smash open the TV remote just to see what's inside so now we have to keep it on a shelf where I can barely even reach it
Be thankful about not knowing what’s inside cause mine has lost our backs to ours and he love a remote! but he knows not to put stuff in his mouth thankfully! “Remote for tv!” Knows what remotes control what tvs and all! He won’t even attempt to eat nothing he can’t swallow he spits food right on out! He learned this very early got tired of us sticking our fingers down his throat lol
Hi, how did the situation turn out? My 2 year old may have just swallowed the metal tip of a mini magna doodle pen from the dollar store. We're on a road trip and he was playing with it in his car seat. When we stopped for a potty break I noticed the metal tip isn't there anymore. I thoroughly dug through his car seat and the surrounding areas with no metal piece in sight. I know the metal piece is itty bitty but I'm still concerned about if I need to seek medical care once at our destination.
@Taylor we never found it and it didn't cause any problems if he did swallow it. Now when I buy any type of magna Doodle, I look for ones with fully enclosed pen tips
I'm glad it didn't cause any issues! I only gave him the doodle pad to play with because I didn't want him to have too much screen time, but I'll gladly have too much screen time over possibly swallowing something again! I'll have to get an enclosed pen tip next time
I’d call your doctor. I know sometimes magnets aren’t good but i think that’s if they are big and strong magnets. So I’d call your doctor. And google maybe
