I moved during pregnancy so I wasn’t with pruh when I gave birth, but while i was under them my appts were at Beckenham beacon and my scans were at Kings
I believe the midwife appointments are chosen to be the closest to where you live and the scans are at Harris Birthright Centre… In my case, I am having my antenatal appointments at Queen Mary’s hospital
Most of my midwife appointments have been at Orpington hospital. All scans have been Harris birthright centre (kings), but now I'm nearly at the end my appointments are at my doctor's surgery which is nice, but I have been to other surgeries for appointments too, I think it just depends where they can fit you. But the beginning ones will most likely be at Orpington hospital
OK thank you! Xx
My midwife appointments have been in burnt ash family centre x
I do think it all depends on where you live. My appointments were at Beckenham Beacon but all scans were at Harris birthright centre at King's.
I had my first daughter at PRU. My midwife appointments were at a children’s centre in Penge. PRUH was amazing, I’m gutted I’m not in the area to have this daughter there
Hiya, former student midwife at the PRUH. It depends on the team looking after you. Beacon team you will be seen at beckenham beacon, blenheim is a mixture of orpington hospital and blenheim childrens centre, ravensbourne team you will be seen at your GP surgery usually or at orpington hospital on occasion. There are also other teams but those are the main ones.
All my midwife appointments are at Orpington Hospital and then the scans are at Kings Denmark Hill
My midwife appointments were at Sidcup Queen Mary’s and then they were moved to Orpington hospital because of GD diagnosis and all my scans are at Denmark hill
