Long sleeve vest or short?

What do yous dress your baby in? She’s 4months old. I currently have a long sleeve vest on her constantly, long sleeve under long tops and under baby grows? Is this too much? Should I put a short sleeve vest on her during the day? And also if I use a long sleeve vest as a top does that mean she has 2 vests on and is this also too much?

Generally my boy wears short sleeve vest with sleepsuit. Occasionally will wear long sleeved vest under his sleepsuit but I don’t have as many as short sleeved ones x

I only do short sleeves with mine...but he gets very hot and rashy. Maybe check your little ones tummy or the back of their neck if it doesn't feel too hot carrying on with what you're doing x

We only do short sleeve under his babygrow or his top if he is in trackies and a top as his ‘underwear’!

General rule is one layer more than you. I have my little one in a long sleeve vest and outfit or sleepsuit. My house is between 18-20 degrees for reference.

My little girl wears a short sleeve vest under a sleepsuit or outfit x

My little girl wears a long sleeve vest and long sleeve sleepsuit during the day as the temperature has dropped recently, and I have the back door open throughout the day for the dog.

My little boy wears a long sleeve vest with joggers around the house mainly nothing on under neither and a short sleeve vest with a sleepsuit for bed time. He very rarely has any more layers on unless it’s super cold or raining.

My little girl always has a long sleeve vest on underneath her clothes day and night since it’s got colder x

Mine wears long sleeved vest and bottoms during the day (nothing underneath) then only a long sleeved vest to sleep as he sleeps with me and I'd rather have him too cold than too hot!

I have my 4 month old in a long sleeve vest as the base, with a tracksuit on top (his full wardrobe in 3-6M is tracksuits due to it being cold). This way he’s kept warm. At night I’ll put him in a baby grow, I try to use long sleeve vests still but I have more short sleeved ones so I put him in any I have. He has a 2.5tog sleeping bag. My boy is outgrowing his sleeping bag tbf he’s getting too long so when I size up I’ll see if there’s a thicker one while it’s colder - everyone’s different though! My house always feels quite cold. If it gets really chilly I’ll put the heating on but if it’s just your standard cold I wrap him up in a tracksuit or baby grow and a blanket to keep him toasty xx
