Kindergarten testing
Okay so my oldest turns 5 in December of this year and he’s been wanting to go to school, I mean he gets super excited when we pass the school by our house. Anyways they have a test to have him go in early so he doesn’t have to wait til next year. Has anyone done this test? Is it even worth it?

I've heard the tests depending on your area can be easy. Mostly they want to know if they can write their names, know some shapes, colors, count to 10, and letters.

i think it’s best to just let him be in prek or transitional kindergarten it’s an adjustment to them going to school they think it’s fun and games and it is but there’s structure 🥹
