Good neighborhoods to live in and areas to avoid in Luton and Dunstable?

What suggestions do you have of areas to rent where we can safely walk with our babies, with good services around, woods or park nearby and relatively good connection to a train station?

Thanks Elisha! We are not closed to moving out of this area but our baby loves his Nursury and given the current struggles for childcare everywhere we would prefer to try to stay around.

Harpenden if you can afford it! 😊

I would love that Sophie :)) But there’s barely any renting going on there! I’m looking to understand what are the best neighborhoods/areas in Dusntable and Luton.

Ah, I misread your question - I thought you said ā€œto avoid Luton and Dunstableā€ šŸ˜‚

I would recommend bushmead or saints. It’s a little pricey over town/dallow area but definitely safer for families x

Old Bedford Road is great as wardown park is just there and it’s huge. Also down the road is town and easily accessible using buses. There’s a train station in town too. I would definitely avoid Farley, dallow and legrave.

Agree with being close to Wardown Park. We love living in High Town - cafes and pubs in the area, parks and walks too. Close to the train station or a walk in to town too. You could also look at Round Green.

Try astridge

If you need to use public transport to get around, would recommend high town. Bushmead is very family friendly, but would only recommend if you dont need to use the buses as they can be very unreliable. Wigmore is also a nice area

Sundon Park and Bramingham
