When did you start giving your babies those cereal puff style snacks or yogurt melts?

My babe is almost 10 months but I’m afraid to give her dry finger foods like that because I’m scared she’ll choke

My little boy will be 6 months old soon and has been having these types of snacks since 4 months old!! They melt in the mouth which may give you a little more reassurance x

Little boys been having them apart of his lunch for a while now he's nearly 7 months a so perfectly safe

My son has had them since around 6 months.

Probably recommend a baby first aid course or familiarise yourself with first aid videos so you’re less worried. My little one been having since 6 months they melt in mouth x

Those melts melt in their mouth, I would encourage you to try. Gave it to my soon probably around 8 months. I avoid them because they usually have a bit of sugar but otherwise they are safe. My baby eats finger foods though, we don't do purées.

6 months for puffs, 9 months for yogurt melts (because that’s when we started dairy)

Around 5 months. If you’re antsy about giving them, you can either 1) try one and don’t use your teeth to chew. Swirl it in your mouth for an idea of how it’ll be for them and how it’ll dissolve or 2) put it under the tap for a moment and try to squish it I never give him snacks if I can’t see him because of the choking risks, but he’s never had any issues. Right now he likes the Gerber Cheeto looking snack and arrowroot biscuits

My baby did choke on one of the puffs, but thankfully they melt. I understand the fear. I'm scared to give my baby chopped food.
