Fast food during pregnancy

Hey all, I’m 16 weeks and worried because all I want to eat is a Big Mac. Literallt everything else seems disgusting and I just want to eat maccas all day. Prior to being pregnant I couldn’t give an f about McDonald’s (we call it maccas in Australia). Will it have detrimental effects on baby?

Your cravings will change throughout the pregnancy. My cousin delivered a healthy baby girl at age 43 and some days she ate Chick fil a three times a day. I would just watch your sodium intake so that your blood pressure stays normal. I don’t know much about the quality of fast food in Australia.

Just eat a big Mac. The occasional Macca's won't hurt

Eat that Big Mac! It’s okay as long as you don’t have it every meal for the whole pregnancy. Make sure you are eating so if that’s all that sounds good then have it. I went through a few weeks in pregnancy where I was having McDonald’s fries so much. You won’t always want that so just have it now when you do want it

I was craving a big mac too, I'm 12 weeks. Just have one but don't make it a habbit!

Big Mac was my craving in pregnancy too. I ate maccies and kfc in my pregnancy, not too often but my baby boy is 6 weeks old now and completely healthy and thriving. Eat whatever you can stomach. As long as you don’t have too much of it, it’s completely fine.

Eat as many Big Macs as you want.. honestly don’t stress if your still eating other foods and having it once a day… I’m a massive coke drinker I have tried to cut to water but honestly I still drink both sometimes its coke then water

Some will judge but there is no right or wrong way to eat while pregnant

with my first i ate so much take away such as mcdonald's especially the breakfast and towards the end warm chocolate pudding was a must🤣 you will be fine you can always just balance your other meals if you're worried
