Camping while pregnant yes or no?

Has anyone gone camping while pregnant? Like tent and blow up mattress camping? I’ve already accepted I can’t go to my normal spot this summer becuase it’s an hour down a back road with no signal through the whole backroad and i wouldn’t wanna risk being that far off grid if something was to happen with my pregnancy but I’m wondering is camping just not the best idea I love it so much and i can’t really imagine not doing any camping all summer. Or does anyone have tips to make it work while pregnant I’ll be inbetween 20-30ish weeks for the main months I usually go.

I went camping while I was pregnant and I was around 24-25 weeks pregnant at the time. I enjoyed it. It was a tent, blow up mattress, and I also had a folding cot that I put the mattress on. I didn’t have any issues at all. I just recommend making everything as easy and comfortable as possible, making the trip as minimally stressful on you and baby.

I went about the same time- brought a mattress pad and pregnancy pillow and was fine!

There’s no reason not to unless you have a high risk pregnancy and/or your doctor recommends not to! If you’re worried about something going wrong with the baby maybe check how far the nearest hospital is from the campsite.

@Rachel thank you!!

@Hannah thank you

@Porshia thank you:)

Every year my family does a family reunion camping for a whole weekend and 2 yrs ago I was pregnant and this yr I will also be pregnant 😅 just take it easy and I suggest a fan lol

I’m going camping Easter weekend, was wondering the same thing !! I will be 32weeks then so fingers crossed all will be okay 🤞🏼❤️

I have a huge camping trip (a whole week) in September and I'll be 7/8 months pregnant by then!! I plan on bringing a really nice blow up mattress and pregnancy pillow, as well as taking it easy during the day with lots of rest, snacks, and water!!

I truly thought that said cramping 🤣

@Jess I hope it goes well!
