Unisom entire pregnancy - any negative effects?

Hi mamas! I started taking unisom & vitamin b6 in my first trimester and have had to continue because I quickly return to vomiting when I stop. My OB is ok with me taking it the whole pregnancy but seeing as in some areas of the world they don’t recommend taking any sleep aids in pregnancy… I started wanting to hear from others who have taken unisom their entire pregnancy. Anyone else have to do that & any concerns post birth with baby’s development, health, etc?

I'm very similar in that I experience extreme nausea and vomiting during my first and second trimester (luckily it eases up by the third for me). I was prescribed Diclegis, which is essentially the same active ingredients as Unisom and also has B6 and it's worked miracles for me, far better than just Unisom and B6 alone surprisingly. Regardless, I took Diclegis throughout my entire pregnancy and my baby was born completely healthy at 42 +3 weeks. Aside from having to take Diclegis, I had a very healthy and normal pregnancy! I mean this kid was walking at 9 months old 😅 that's not normal, but I would say that he's healthy for sure! lol! I hope that helps! ❤️

Haha that is so so helpful thank you @Katelynn !! Puts my mind at ease about this 😌

I took Diclegis almost the whole of my pregnancy. My baby is doing ok and I have no complications during pregnancy or delivery.

Thank you @Shri !!
