SMA comfort milk not mixing?

Does anyone here use SMA comfort milk? I bought some today for the first time for my LO who has colic and making it up directly as follows on the back on the tin and it will not mix correctly. It has clumps of powder in that go gloopy and stayed at bottom of the bottle. Tried mixing with a spoon/knife, the water it was mixed with was above 70 degrees, tried multiple different bottles and shaking as hard as possible and each time the powder almost won’t mix into the water. (Picture attached showing sink once bottle has been tipped away) these lumps were all in the bottle and feel like glue texture to touch. Luckily only gave my baby one bottle before realising it was doing this. The rest of the bottle I made with it were just to test whether I’d done something incorrectly whilst making it but all bottles come out the same. Any advice on why this is happening? Very reluctant to give my baby any more of this formula but shame to have bought a whole tin of something I thought would help his tummy issues. I’ve gone straight back to using normal SMA since this happened but just wondering if anyone uses this and how you get the powder to mix in correctly?

I had exactly the same issue, due to the sma comfort being a thicker formulation. I tried multiple methods to mix it, and there were still clumps. Recently, I brought one of those hand-held electric milk frothers from amazon to mix the formula, and it works a treat also it doesn't cause any excess bubbles
