Thank you for sharing your story @Samantha your little girl is lovely!
Thank you @Destinie
I discovered that I had fibroids while trying to conceive my daughter (now age five). During that pregnancy I experienced painful fibroid growth and degeneration during the first trimester and survived it to have a vaginal delivery. Presently, I’m pregnant at age 40 and had to deal with bleeding in the first few weeks. Yet, now there’s less internal pain than my first pregnancy. This time I’m avoiding caffeine entirely and aiming for anti-inflammatory anti-fibroid nutrition generally. So far so good. All that to say, you’ve got this one step at a time!
Thank you for sharing your experience @Nichole :)
fibroids and pcos mama here! i knew i had fibroids before pregnancy, they grew big in second trimester and landed me in hospital as it had degenerated. i was told all sorts of not good things. HOWEVER - they kept growing lol 10cm and near the birth canal, i had to do an elective c section, but my babygirl was constantly moving & never once was i in the hospital due to any lack of movements etc. i have uterine fibroids, so she faced head down like by 36w and was battling with the fibroids. i have 3 altogether but shes always been healthy!! xx
