@Chai ah great I was wondering about llanishen but never been to that one - do they have a baby pool or is it just a regular pool? :) oh and so the baby is free? Not clear from the website, maybe I just need to turn up and pay there!
@Amy they have an area for babies/children😊 there’s a little elephant slide and a mushroom waterfall thing too. The pool gets deeper the further in you go but we were closest to the slide so the water only went up to my daughters belly xx
@Chai oh lush, thanks so much!
@Amy no problem at all! If you do go, it’s £1 for the lockers (I almost forgot when I went🥴😂) x
@Chai did you take a pram in? Sorry for the thousands of questions!
@Amy that’s okay! No I didn’t take a pram in, I drove and just carried my daughter and our bag in😊 if you do drive make sure you put your car registration into the machine on your right towards the cafe x
@Chai cool! Looking forward to trying it out. I took mine into the pool in a holiday park we were just in and as I have all the stuff thought I’d do it now we’re home too!
@Amy awh sounds lovely😊 it was my daughters first time in a pool and she absolutely loved it, they were playing music and had rubber footballs in the children’s area too when I went, she clung to one of them the whole time 😂x
International pool is lovely and if you ever did think of lessons they are lovely there! X
@Sian it’s just that I’m going back to work in a couple of weeks so want more of an ad hoc thing. When she’s older and actually ready to properly learn will definitely do lessons though! Would you say the international pool is good for little babies? :)
Llantrisant pool is heated and cheap for one off swims- bit of a boring pool as it’s just a rectangle but there was loads of changing rooms which was great!!
This is all super helpful!
I took my daughter to llanishen leisure centre last week. It was £9 for me and her and they had baby changing tables in the women’s changing room, I didn’t use these tho I brought a portable changing mat with me and changed her in the family/disabled stall in the changing rooms. Only issue is the showers, the cubicles are tiny and nowhere to put baby down for you for shower so we just rinsed off and showered/bathed properly when we got home straight after
