Seafood boil?

I’m 17 weeks pregnant and never have had a seafood boil, I’m absolutely craving it and have been for weeks. I’ve read up on it and it’s saying it’s safe to eat seafood boils as it’s properly cooked, has anyone else done this?

I ate a few seafood boils through my pregnancy. It had just crab legs, shrimp, corn and eggs tho.

Long is the seafood isn’t high in mercury it’s fine (which crab legs and shrimp aren’t)

Yes yes yes as long as you don’t have allergies go for it just don’t eat too much due to mercury

I believe it’s fine if you’ve never eaten seafood before I probably wouldn’t start doing it now while pregnant

@Chloe I’ve eaten seafood my whole life but raw seafood I’ve never had a seafood boil before though.

@LillyRose then go for gold :)

Everything in a seafood boil is cooked so it’s totally safe. I also eat raw sashimi when pregnant but not through windows, only at a 4-5* Jap restaurant. Make it at home mama it’s much easier- Cajun sauce is just butter, parsley and a bunch of spices. I made it a couple weeks ago, hubby bought lobster and crab for cheap coz he went at the end of the day and the seafood monger gave him a huge discount, they wanted it gone.

When I was pregnant i didn't have seafood boil but I craved it. My reasoning though was because LO made me not like seafood much during my pregnancy. I did have lobster, gator and tried salmon but that's how I found out I couldn't eat seafood because the morning sickness after the smell and taste of the salmon (which is unlike me) made me sick af 😭

I love seafood and haven’t given it up during my whole pregnancy, enjoy some seafood!!
