If it’s different and ur not feeling him move as much, then don’t hesitate to call ur maternity ward. Have u tried laying on ur side in a dark room? Having a cold drink?
You’re doing the right thing. Even with an anterior placenta, you know what’s normal for you and if you’re not feeling usual movements, it’s best to get checked out… even if you call triage and the baby starts moving normally, they’ll likely be inclined to assess you anyway as there was a period where you were worried about decreased movement. Hopefully all is well, but always better safe than sorry! Never hesitate when it pertains to your babies health. ☺️
I used to have days like this and still do now 33 weeks and same anterior placenta
Someone else ino hardly felt there baby move till late pregnancy with first and same placenta x
Drink a cold drink, like orange juice lay on your back and feel for any movements for 2 hours. Keep your phone off and have the room silent, I had a anterior placenta also was told, and since it’s your first pregnancy same as me. We won’t really feel our babies till past 30 weeks or in my case was like that because I was the same and was suggested to do that first before going in to make sure because I had so much anxiety during my pregnancy
I haven’t long had my third baby and also had an anterior placenta, but still felt him from 17 weeks along, at 25 weeks I felt he was super quiet / hardly had any movements so I rang my midwife and she seen me just at the GP’s, had a feel on his position and listened in to his heartbeat which was reassuring, doesn’t hurt to ring up x
i’ve tried cold drinks and eaten meals as he would normally move after this but still not had as much as normal
Please go to triage x
