Dizziness after eating in the morning?

Anybody else find they’re getting really dizzy and nearly fainting, but only after eating in the morning? I have my breakfast and a decaf coffee and then If I try and move around afterwards I go super lightheaded and nauseous and there’s been a few occasions where my vision starts to close in so I have to sit down before I faint. When it happens I’ve looked at my heart rate on my watch and it goes through the roof. Wondered if it’s blood pressure related or low iron? I have my midwife apt next week anyway so planning to mention it, but wondered if anyone has had similar?

I have been having dizzy spells after my breakfast in the morning since 24 weeks.I am currently 26w3d. My iron levels is low and am taking a iron supplement .I am also type 1 diabetic. Thus far my blood pressure has been fine. The dizzy spells only lasts for about 30 minutes but feel like I need to lie down abit too. What helps me is taking my prenatal vitamin at night and having a smaller portion of breakfast in the morning. Having scramble egg and cucumber for breakfast helps me instead of cereal. Could be your iron levels that's low.

Yes I am! Just started this week and I’m 25 weeks now. I am on iron already so maybe it is related to that. Occassionally happens with a big meal later on too but mainly in the morning.

Just a side suggestion - If they test you for pregnancy related conditions like pre eclampsia ect and low iron and don’t find anything ask about cardiology! I’ve been referred to a cardiologist for pregnancy and it’s rare but can also bring on POTS xx

Thanks everyone! I’m 27+4 and it seems to be getting worse so I’ll try all the above and speak to my midwife, if that fails I’ll speak to the dr about a referral xx
