Dawn dish soap / pump parts

Ok I know I sound a little crazy, BUT I just washed my pump parts with soap at work and didn’t realize it was Dawn soap for pots and pans…. It was also lemon scented…. after I pumped I poured my milk into bottles and smelled the soap scent still on my pump parts? Do I dump the milk out or is it ok to feed baby?

I think it’s still safe what if you just switched bottles and rinsed them again. You don’t want to dump that liquid gold though.

I would try some and see but if you’re not willing to try maybe not idk that’s hard! Cause scents are strong

milk is still usable. as long as there is no soap residue then it's fine. you can use any type of soap to wash baby Bottles and pump parts.

It's fine. This happens when i wash my husbands cups. It's clear of soap, but he can still smell the residue. I buy a gentle soap for bottles, or i add water into the soap bottle and wash with that. It helps with the soap smell, but still as effective.
