Asking for Accommodations...

Haven't posted here in a while, but wanted to share that I'm currently requesting accommodations at work... Just curious if anyone else has ever done this for their nuerodiversity? Also who discloses this when applying for jobs? I've definitely had mixed feelings about doing it đŸ«€

Don’t disclose at interviews. They’re legally not allowed to ask. You can ask for accommodations at any point in employment. So you can feel out the position & see what works and doesn’t - then ask for what accommodations you need. The point is, you’re qualified, (legally) disabled or not. They’re not allowed to exclude you. So get literally whatever job you want and are qualified for. Then if you need “help” (aka accommodations), get it. Do not feel guilty or less than for one second. They owe it to you.
