@Megan see I would do this but we are in the middle of buying a house so I can’t really risk being sent to collections 🤦🏻♀️🙄
@Lexi I did call and the lady on the phone basically said I didn’t have a choice I had to pay it because it was sent to my insurance
Ask to speak to the manager. I just had this happen last month. I got irate and mentioned the law suit. They sent it to a manager and a week later I got that cheap bill. I used everything from the lawsuit about how they take advantage of those with insurance etc. You don’t have to pay that
I ignored mine and still bought a house don’t worry. It’s medical so it can’t count against you also they’re a scammy company
No that’s a scam do not pay that outrageous price especially knowing your have network insurance and should be paying for your visit premiums not labs.
I also want to add when I called them they revealed if I paid out of pocket it would have been $200 but since I had insurance it would cost 4K I was like bye I’m not paying anything!!!
I have bill from them just sitting here as I was not expecting that high of pricing. I planned to call them and from other responses that’s the best route I can take
Call your insurance and have them call on your behalf. I work for an insurance company and I do not let things like this slide. They will have the claim on file and the amount you’re actually responsible for.
Call and tell them you are not paying that. They are being sued for doing this. Google it. I told them I won’t be scammed. They dropped it to $160.00
