@Nicol do you remember when you felt your first. I’m not sure if it’s just because it’s my first I’m not sure what it’s meant to feel like 😂
@Vicky First one was anterior placenta and I felt him around 20 weeks x it’s hard to describe the movements . It’s like wee bubbles inside x but now it’s a lot stronger so my partner can even feel them when he puts his hand on my belly .
First pregnancy anterior felt first little kicks at 17 weeks, second anterior again and started to feel at 13 weeks. Its sort of like little random pokes and like you have gas bubbles that roll or pop sensation. Later on its stronger and its more like proper kicks. X
Mine is posterior and I felt her bang on 19 weeks. My partner felt tiny kicks from the outside at 20 weeks too! But I think that’s super early
I have posterior and it's my first. I only felt some bubbles for two days on holiday at week 18. But then it stopped so not sure if it was that. I am 20 weeks now and still nothing now x getting a little worried since everyone with posterior is saying how early they felt it, but I have a scan on Thursday so I'll get to see them at least x
If it helps ease anyone's mind, first pregnancies you often don't feel any movements until 22-24 weeks, and some people need help to recognise them after that. And if like me you're on the tubby side, that can stop you feeling movements and getting a bump earlier.
P.s. this was what my midwife told me
Congratulations 🥹 I’ve noticed this happening to lots of couples that when they finally decide on IVF they get pregnant 😄 I have posterior placenta this time and I felt movements since 16 weeks . And they are much stronger as well compare to anterior placenta that I had with my first
