Also if she is difficult to nap during day time, I give her contact nap or use sling or whatever works to get her back on track for day sleep. Want good sleep habits but sleeping is above everything.. so even sling or holding her with me at times if she is being difficult. All the best.
Huckleberry is a good app to track wake windows and gives quite accurate notifications of nap times and sweet spots.
I recommend the sleep coach by pampers app. Is pretty good and is personalised to you and your baby’s needs. I have found it that since I’ve used it I have noticed a massive improvement in my 4 and 1/2 baby
Ah thanks so much! @Sadia
@Ely thank you!☺️
What worked for me: 1. Feeding more in the evenings, mine 3 months old seem to store up the stock for nigh in evenings 😂 2. Follow sleep queues and wake windows during the day as well. A baby is difficult to sleep well at night if does not nap properly (hence overtired) or napping too much (more than 4-5 hours during day) 3. Usually keep wake window before bedtime longest, use the time to feed back to back - I.e. pt 1 above. 4. Bedtime routine - could be simple, change diaper, lotion, dim lights, put in sleep tog/bag, bath if it is bath day after massage. May be bit of wipe down using wet cloth. Then cuddles, feed, bit of song or whatever works to calm down to some extent. 5. I started putting her in her crib wide awake. Used everything I could in terms of positive sleep association including dummy but avoided even patting. She was a pain for first week but then she picked up and now does even takes the dummy and sleeps pretty easily on her own.
