Transitioning to own room

Has anyone transitioned their baby to their own room yet? And have you noticed them sleeping better if so??

Yes, move that baby out!

Have been trying to since she’s sleeping through the night, but now that’s she’s teething she’s been so clingy 🤦🏽‍♀️ trying to remain strong

Mine is 5.5 months and I haven’t yet. He still sleeps in the bassinet in our room and wakes up like 1-3 times a night. I didn’t feel like getting up and walking down the hallway if he gets up lol but if he will sleep better in his own room maybe I should try it

We transitioned at 4 months and we both have been sleeping better.

I did and it was worse at first while adjusting. Then it got a lot better. Now it’s worse again because teething. But I still enjoy having my own room back!

Currently trying for the first time tonight! Baby is 5 1/2 months old and she’s been waking up all night recently so I’m thinking and hoping having more room to move around in her crib compared to her bassinet will help her. Her bassinet is safe until 6 months of age so it’s almost time to transition her out of it so I figure I would start now

We did, and it's not been terrible. I started with his first nap of the day, then added in subsequent naps after a few days. We're up too full time in his room, and we all sleep so much better! We have a camera in his room, and the monitor is right by my bed, so I can hear and see him perfectly. I still wake to his noises, but just check that he's okay and he goes back to sleep. I wanted him full-time by 6 months, so we started at 5 months and just took it slowly.

@Kristina literally same.
